Who are we?
We are Firefly. A young, fast-growing organization with the goal of making the world more sustainable. We do this by letting our LED lighting shine in as many places as possible. We make it as easy and attractive as possible for entrepreneurs, healthcare institutions, schools, homeowners' associations and sports clubs to switch to LED lighting. With Smart Firefly we offer a unique and complete control system for commercial lighting and IoT systems. Our motto? LEDs power the future.

Who are we looking for?
Due to our rapid growth, our team regularly expands with new colleagues. We are currently looking for a full-time Accountant. In this position, you will work closely with our financial colleagues and perform a diverse range of tasks.

You will be responsible for the correctness and updating of our financial data.

You ensure that all bookings are done correctly, prepare and execute declarations with the accountant, draw up sales invoices, create financial overviews including the balance sheet, annual, profit and loss accounts, check expenses, ensure timely filings and advise the management on financial management.

It is important that you take the initiative yourself and have a great sense of responsibility and are stress-resistant. You know how to tackle things and always get to the bottom of things. You like to work until it is completely correct. You are financially strong thanks to your education and work experience and ready for the next step in your career.

We expect you to start working independently after an introduction to the organization where you discover all the financial ins & outs. It is important that you are determined, accurate, flexible and motivated to keep up with our rapid growth.

What do you have?

• Excellent financial insight and strong knowledge of financial reporting and calculations;
• You are accurate, analytical, independent and motivated;
• You have at least a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related study;
• You have at least five years of suitable work experience;
• Good communication skills and command of the Dutch language;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft MS;
• A driving license (B)
