The Smart Fly is a compact module that is integrated into the luminaire and works with any DALI‑2 Emergency driver. This makes it easy to add Smart Fly to virtually any emergency lighting fixture, instantly making it fully smart. For installers and building owners, this means maximum freedom in brand choice, without compromising on smart functionality or future-proofing.

The Smart Fly operates completely independently and communicates directly with the cloud via LTE‑M. No gateway is required. This ensures a fast and consistent installation, regardless of the location. As soon as the module is active, automatic monitoring begins and all information is available in real time through the Firefly Smart platform.
