The foundation of our sensor solution is the Smart Fly: our module for intelligent wireless control. Where previously separate components were often used for sensor technology and lighting control, we have combined everything into one product: the Smart Fly Sensor.
The sensor wirelessly controls lighting and detects movement, presence, and daylight. It also offers advanced features such as people counting and zoning. What makes this solution especially valuable is the 24/7 collection of sensor data. By analyzing this data, you gain insight into when and how lighting is truly needed.

How does the Smart Fly Sensor work?
Our sensor uses radar technology, which goes beyond traditional PIR sensors. Radar detects not only movement but also subtle presence, ensuring accurate and energy-efficient lighting control.
The Smart Fly Sensor automatically switches lighting on or off based on presence, movement, and daylight. This ensures that lighting is never left on unnecessarily, making it ideal for sustainable building management. The sensor can be integrated into or mounted on a luminaire, or used as a standalone unit.
Zhaga Book 18
The Smart Fly Sensor features a Zhaga Book 18 connector. Thanks to this international standard, the sensor can be easily integrated into both new and existing lighting installations.
Our own luminaires and hubs are also equipped with a Zhaga Book 18 connector. This allows the Smart Fly Sensor to work seamlessly with Firefly products, as well as with luminaires from other manufacturers. The result is maximum flexibility when choosing both lighting and smart lighting controls.
