It is important to have the right amount and quality of lighting on the tennis court. Requirements have been drawn up from the NEN-EN 12193 and NOC*NSF standards, which are also adhered to by the KNLTB. The requirements differ for training, local matches and (inter)national top matches.
Minimum lux standards are used for tennis courts:
– Training and recreation 200 lux
– Local and national matches 300 lux
– International and national top matches 500 lux
