Step into a world of light, well-being and innovation, where Firefly, together with Careyn, takes the living environment of several PG departments (psychogeriatric departments) to a higher level. We proudly enriched these spaces by introducing biodynamic lighting, a technology that goes beyond ordinary lighting. It not only brings clarity, but also balance, peace and a noticeable improvement in the quality of life. With biodynamic lighting, we bring the rhythm of daylight indoors.
Projects in Maarsen and Maassluis
Firefly has already put its expertise into practice at various Careyn locations. In Maarsen, location Snavelenburg, we have provided four departments with biodynamic lighting. In addition, we have been able to provide two departments of location De Vloot in Maassluis with this innovative solution. At both locations, residents and employees are already noticing the positive effects of this lighting, which not only contributes to well-being but also to a pleasant living environment. We have also installed cloud ceilings for an inviting appearance and a sense of calm for the residents.

The power of biodynamic lighting
Biodynamic lighting is much more than a smart solution; it is an innovative approach that mimics the natural light cycle of the sun. This offers numerous benefits:

To further enhance this experience, we combine the lighting with innovative cloud ceilings. These ceilings, featuring images of clouds or trees, simulate the feeling of a sunny day and provide a visual connection to nature. The result is a space that not only feels brighter, but also warmer and more inviting.
This unique combination of technology and design is ideal for corridors and rooms with little or no natural daylight. Especially in healthcare institutions, these solutions contribute to an improved experience and atmosphere.
