Nowadays, fixtures are developed in such a way that the LED technology is integrated into the fixture, so that a light source is no longer necessary. A fixture is attached to the ceiling or to a wall and its purpose is to determine the direction of light.

A fixture is usually made of plastic or metal (steel or aluminum). There are also major differences in quality. Choose a fixture made of high-quality materials to prevent discoloration.

Where there is light, there is a luminaire. Luminaires are used in companies in countless places, such as schools, factories, offices and public buildings.

There is a luminaire for every application that meets the lighting requirements of the space. Fixtures are also responsible for a good distribution and contrast of the light. For a good result, it is important that the lamp and fixture are well matched.

Choosing the right fixture depends on two things: the type of lamp and the application of the fixture. Some fixtures are dust and waterproof.

Downlight fixtures– These are round recessed spotlights or round LED panels, usually between 15 cm and 26 cm in diameter, which are used in a system ceiling or a plastered ceiling. These downlight fixtures are very often used in corridors, toilets, canteens, meeting and waiting rooms, shops and entrances.

Downlight fixtures are perhaps the most commonly used business lighting. This is also due to their simple application. A round hole, fixture through it, connect and light up. It provides relatively much light and gives a pleasant appearance.

Inlay fixtures–Nowadays, it is mainly LED panels that are used for this. These can be found in many companies as standard lighting. They are mainly used in large and small offices, meeting rooms, shops, showrooms and development areas. Due to their size, they can often be used exactly in place of a ceiling tile. It provides a sleek finish to the ceiling and provides even light.

Surface-mounted luminaires – Usually, such a luminaire is also dust and splash-proof and well suited for a warehouse, storage shed, shipping or industrial hall. These waterproof luminaires are easy to install on a ceiling where recessed installation is not possible. A surface-mounted luminaire is usually a bit more work to install because the electrical installation is completely visible. The water and dust resistance is indicated by an IP value.

Business lighting is a very important part of your company.
