Precommissioning of the Firefly Smart products

Are you going for Firefly Smart? Then you will be completely unburdened by our precommissioning. What does that mean? 85% of the entire process is taken care of by us in advance. This means that your complete lighting plan is pre-programmed and tested. Further on you can read all the steps we take for you.
The advantage for you as an installer is a lightning-fast installation by means of Plug-and-Play (PnP). You only have to connect the Firefly Smart products to your project location according to our installation plan. Because the products are wireless, you can connect them quickly. Even 2x faster than before. And because we have pre-programmed them, you are done 2x faster. So you install 4 times faster!

Your customer’s building is virtually created on our Firefly Platform, including floors, departments and spaces.

2Identify and linkIdentify and link products
Each Firefly Smart product is provided with a unique device ID corresponding to the installation plan. Then the products such as switches, sensors and lighting are linked to the platform.

3Assign deviceAssign device
We ensure that the correct Firefly Smart products are assigned to the correct virtual spaces based on the installation plan. They are also given the correct name so that they are recognizable for the (end) users.

4Create groupsCreate groups
Once the lighting is virtually in the right space, we create groups. We do this so that your customer can easily choose to control multiple lights from one group, for example.

5Creating scenesCreating scenes
We can create preset programs (scenes) for specific situations as desired. Does your client want to dim the light during a beamer presentation? Then we create a ‘presentation mode’. This scene can be activated with one push of a button.

6AutomationAutomation
After going through all the previous steps, we set up automations based on the customer’s wishes. For example, think of a sensor that detects presence, which turns on the lighting according to the right scene. Or think of (non-sensor controlled) lighting that goes out when the burglar alarm is activated at the end of the day.

In the Firefly app we give users access to certain functions, depending on their role. For example, they can view energy reports or set scenes themselves.

As a final step, we test everything and prepare everything for delivery. This way, you won’t be faced with any unexpected surprises.
